All must have heard the term “Blog” or “Weblog” and probably thinking what’s all about. But most of us never knew exactly what it was. Don’t be confused, here I will explain you clearly in simple terms.

A blog is nothing but an online journal. It is usually arranged in chronological order from the most recent post on the top of the main page to the older entries towards the bottom. Blogs are typically run by small groups or individual to present their information.

Blogging means equipping the web page with tools to make the process of writing, posting, linking, and sharing content easier on the internet.

Blogger is the one who runs and controls a blog. The person who shares their opinion on different topics for a target audience.

Whether the Website and Blog differ?

Yes! Blog slightly differs from the website. The blog is a part of a website. The only real difference between the blog and the other type of website is that blogs are regularly updated with the new information that is arranged at the top.

Websites are static in nature. Here, the content is organized in pages and they are not updated frequently.

Blogs are dynamic and are updated frequently. Some bloggers may publish more than one article per day. In simple terms, all blogs can be a part of a website or website. However, all websites can’t be a blog. Top brands and businesses create blogs to educate their customers, share news, and reach a wider audience.

 Why business needs a blog?

Businesses have to compete to provide their customers with new content to keep them interested. If a customer becomes interested in your blog and begins to follow it regularly, you’ve gained an instant long-term customer. When Google views your website pages, it looks for new content it can read. Once your website is reviewed, Google ranks and places it in search engine results that fit the content’s description. The more you know about your target audience, the better you can serve them and appeal to them. Feedback on the blog by readers and comments on social media posts that link to your blog articles will help you to learn about what content is most interesting to your target audience, and what will increase engagement with them.
